With Anomaly detection, you can automatically find unusual billing activity and solve issues before you have a bigger problem on your hands.
Anomaly detection uses an algorithm to detect sudden cost spikes for your resources.
To activate the feature, access the Anomalies tab in the top ribbon for a first time.
When anomalies are detected by the app, they will be listed in the Anomalies screen.
Anomalies can be flagged and filtered. To flag an anomaly, hover your mouse on top of it and click on the flag that appears in the top-right corner.
To remove an anomaly from the list and archive it, click on the archive icon that appears in the top-right corner.
To filter your Anomalies, use the Filter by drop down and select Unread or Flagged.
Anomalies can be ordered by Date, Resource type, Variation details (the cost difference percentage and dollar amount with the previous day), Resource admin, Cost, or Delta (the cost difference with the previous day). Click on the appropriate field's title to change the order.
Click on any anomaly to get to the anomaly details and remove the unread badge for that anomaly.
Click Mark all as read in the top-left corner of the Anomaly detection screen to remove all the unread badges at once.
